Plymouth Fury is definitely the car that thousands of My Summer Car players have been waiting for – how to get the keys to it and start driving it thanks to modifications? It’s simpler than you think.
From a wreck to a fully built car
If anyone follows the activities of the My Summer Car developer, he knows that in 2015 a vehicle was released that is modeled on the 1961 Plymouth Fury, but it never entered the game as a fully built car and could not be driven. The player could only look at the design of the car, which strongly resembled the Plymouth Fury and was available in Fleetari’s mechanic’s garage.
Quite recently, one of the modders decided to try his hand and created a mod (which is currently not available to players due to the large number of bugs that need to be fixed) that made Fury available to the player, and the keys had to be “stolen” (i.e. actually take the mechanic off the table) and we got a new car that we could keep forever.
Is Fury a perfect car modification? Probably yes, but in terms of its handling, which practically does not differ from the classic Ferndale, which can be experienced in the game from the very beginning (since 2016, when My Summer Car had its premiere). The interior of the vehicle is complete, it has a working odometer, speedometer, radio, seat belts, fully functional steering wheel, and both low and high-beam lights. Even the chassis of this car is not a photo texture, but real 3D models of the suspension, gearbox, exhaust, etc. – Driveable Fury is a modification that was certainly made with great care.
When can we expect the author to patch all the issues that have been found so far and when the mod will be officially posted on Nexus Mods by the author? For now, it is not known, but some YouTubers have already received an early version of the mod and in their videos, we can see that the Driveable Fury mod is impressive at this stage.
