In the last update to The Long Drive a new item was added, and it is a metal detector, which, as the name suggests, detects metals buried in the ground.
New update of The Long Drive
The Long Drive is one of the few in which we simply drive around the desert and look for various items, but several hundred players travel the wilderness every day in search of a better car, gas, or a new… hat. In the last update, Genesz (the game’s developer) added a metal detector that indicates to us that something is buried underground – this is a new way to search for items that are available in the game. Virtually anything metal can be found underground, and it is surprising to gamers that car rims can be buried.
In addition to the visual indicator of the metal detector, players also have a sound, the closer the detector is to a metal thing, the louder the sound it makes. Finally, the shovel that has been in the game for some time can be used, because it is with it that you can dig up “treasures” from under the ground.
The metal detector is not the only interesting new thing in The Long Drive, because a tow truck has been added to the game, which can be used to transport other vehicles – why? We do not know, because there is no winch so that the wreck we are interested in can be taken on a further journey and built with newly found parts in different places.
Certainly, a tow truck can be used as a form of fun (similar to a metal detector), if you have a vehicle that you don’t want to damage, you can “put” it on a tow truck and travel for kilometers in desert areas. Be careful, because the cars on the tow truck are not “glued” and can fall off it.
